Privacy Policy
How we handle your information — in plain language.
Last updated September 10, 2026
This policy explains what information TrueCare Chiropractic & Wellness collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers this website and the ways you get in touch with us. If anything here is unclear, call or text us at (517) 574-4291 and we will explain it.
1. Who we are
TrueCare Chiropractic & Wellness is a chiropractic and wellness clinic at 3400 Pine Tree Rd, Suite 101, Lansing, MI 48911. You can reach us at (517) 574-4291 or [email protected]. We are the party responsible for the information described in this policy.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you fill in a form, email us, call or text us, or book an appointment, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you choose to tell us about why you are getting in touch. You decide what to share. Only your contact details are needed for us to respond.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this site, our analytics tools record standard technical details: the pages you view, the site or search engine you arrived from, your approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address), your device type, browser, and operating system. This is aggregate data about how the site is used. We do not use it to identify you personally.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use two analytics tools, and we want to be specific about what each one does.
Our own page counter
Operated by our marketing partner, Arrow Group Consulting. It counts page views and visits. It sets no cookies and collects no personal information — it stores a random ID in your browser purely so a returning visit is not counted twice. It honours your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting and switches itself off if that is enabled.
Microsoft Clarity
Shows us how people actually use the site — where they click, how far they scroll, and where they get stuck — so we can fix what is not working. It uses cookies and records on-page behaviour. Microsoft processes this on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We use it to improve the website, never to identify individual patients.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will keep working normally if you do.
4. How we use your information
- To answer your question, return your call, or schedule your appointment.
- To provide and follow up on your care.
- To understand which pages and services people are looking for, so we can improve the site.
- To measure whether our advertising is reaching the right people in the Lansing area.
- To meet our legal, professional, and record-keeping obligations as a healthcare provider.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make the practice run:
- Our online scheduler — when you book an appointment, your booking details are handled by our scheduling provider under their own privacy policy.
- Our contact and messaging system — enquiries submitted through the site are routed to our clinic inbox.
- Analytics providers — as described in section 3.
- Our website host — which delivers the site and filters malicious traffic.
- Maps — our location and contact pages embed a map, which loads from the map provider.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the safety of a patient, our staff, or the public.
6. Health information and HIPAA
As a healthcare provider, we are a HIPAA covered entity. Your protected health information — your records, your treatment, your history — is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is separate from this policy and available at the clinic. Ask any staff member for a copy.
Please do not send detailed health information through this website, by email, or by text. Those channels are not encrypted and are not a secure way to send medical details. Just tell us you would like to discuss something, and we will arrange a phone call or an appointment.
7. Your choices
- Turn on “Do Not Track” in your browser and our page counter will not record your visit.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
- Ask us to stop contacting you — reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or simply tell us.
- Ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For medical records we follow the process in our Notice of Privacy Practices, since some records must be retained by law.
8. How we protect your information
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Patient records are held in our practice management systems, which are access-controlled and limited to authorised staff. We keep information only as long as we need it, or as long as the law requires us to. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise — but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect what you give us.
9. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information online from children under 13. We do treat minors in the clinic with a parent or guardian’s consent, and that care is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be noted clearly.
