What causes low back pain?
Often low back pain is caused when one or more of these four things (vertebrae, intervertebral disc, nerve, muscle/ligament) are comprised in some way.

- Radiculopathy (Sciatica)
- Spinal Stenosis
As chiropractors we believe although above stated conditions cause pain and discomfort there are many things that are done on a day to day basis that cause the injury to the low back before these symptoms present.

How do you diagnose the problem?
At Truecare Chiropractic to diagnose low back pain we first thorough history and exam. The exam includes orthopedic, neurological and muscle testing to determine if further imaging is needed. In most cases, over 90%, Chiropractic treatment option is warranted. If through exam there is need for additional imaging we refer out for X-rays, MRI, etc.
How do you help low back pain?
At Truecare Chiropractic we take a unique approach to treating low back pain. We address not only the pain, but how the pain began in the first place.

We then look at your muscles and how they are functioning. Is one side weaker than another? How are your muscles firing in relation to one another? Lastly one of our chiropractors will address how the joints and associated structures are moving in relation to one another.
